It has been 1054 days since we were first introduced to Myoui Mina in the first episode of Sixteen. The mysterious Japanese trainee of one year stole our hearts countless times ever since. Mina is known for her resemblance to a penguin in so many ways, from her cute waddles to her adorably awkward personality. Her love for the little creatures is very well-known.
It's not a fansign without Mina wearing a penguin-related item or hugging the penguin plushies that ONCEs dutifully present to her (every. single. time.). - When Mina Does Aegyo
Mina only has one flaw, and even that's a lie. She claims that she can't do aegyo, but it's been proven otherwise! Countless times, Mina has stolen the heart of the TWICE members and ONCEs with her adorable aegyo. - When Mina Shows Off Her 11 Years experience in Ballet
It's a well-known fact that before she being an idol, Mina did ballet for 11 years. And that's where her nickname, "Black Swan", comes from.
It's not a secret that Mina has an impressive background in ballet. ONCEs first met ballerina Mina during the first mission on SIXTEEN. Since then, Mina has shown versatile dancing styles throughout her career, doing performances such as the Hit the Stage collaboration with Momo, the Ultra Dance Festival Inkigayo Special with other girl group members, and the KBS Gayo Daechukje performance with Hwang Chiyeol.

- When Mina Shows that the Word 'Elegant' Was Made for Her (She owns it)
Elegant means pleasingly graceful and stylish in appearance or manner. The dictionary definition just downright described our girl. Of course, she has her cute penguin side, but she can do complete 180 and become the most elegant woman to ever grace your presence. Mina easily turns a simple "coming out of a van" moment into a legendary photoshoot.

Afterall, Mina's main job is an idol. There are times when she needs to put away her penguin waddles and walk flawlessly on the red carpet. Coining the term "capitalism walk", Mina shows how she can completely change when she has her "idol" face on. As part of a top girl group, Mina's schedule is typically always filled with activities with just enough or minimum time to rest. This doesn't stop her from doing charity work to help those in need. It's not a secret that Mina is a kind-hearted soul, but her small acts to help others always warm our hearts. Despite working long hours, Mina spent time between her schedules to knit beanies to donate to children. In addition, she even signed up to be an organ donor in both Japan and Korea. A real beauty inside and out.

"Minari" is a cute nickname that TWICE members and ONCE use to refer to Mina. Even though she may seem like a quiet and reserved girl at first glance, Mina has a quirky side that occasionally shows up when she's excited. This side can be often seen as Mina randomly pokes her members, flaps her penguin arms, or flutters her penguin feet, accompanied by a cute whine. These actions attack the heart of ONCEs everywhere and makes us fall in love with her again and again without fail. Every. Single. Time.
- When Mina Blesses With Her Amazing Selfies
Mina is known for NOT posting frequently on any of TWICE's official social media accounts -- perhaps she knows how fatal her selfies are to all of our hearts. The lack of content makes ONCEs treasure her rare once-in-a-super-blue-blood-moon selfies every time she decides to bless the world with her beautiful face. Mina definitely knows her angle and how to take a killer selfie (even though that wouldn't take any effort at all because her face is already doing most of the work)! This won't do, these pieces of artworks should be in a museum and get what they deserve!

A bridge is often used to signal a return of a verse or to prepare for the climax of a song. Crowned as TWICE's "Bridge Queen", Mina is often assigned to sing the bridge parts of many TWICE tracks. Characterized by her soft, soothing voice, Mina's singing definitely catches everyone's attention (and heart).
