Ho! Ho! Ho! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! As the year wrapped up, the girls were as busy as ever. With all the travelling and shows, it really feels like Christmas was the busiest time of the year for TWICE.
Here's what happened this week:
December 25, 2017 - Christmas Day also kick-started the year-end music show season!
The SBS Gayo Daejun started things off and was truly a spectacular start to everything. From a Fin.K.L special stage by Nayeon, Momo, Mina, and Dahyun to a special collaboration with Jihyo, GFRIEND's Yuju, BLACKPINK's Rose, BTOB's Sungjae, and Wanna One's Jaehwan, ONCEs were treated to new exciting stages from the members.
December 26, 2017 - This day was filled with news that truly became a gift to all ONCEs!! TWICE was confirmed to be attending the 2018 Golden Disk Awards on the 1st day for the Digital Division on the 10th of January!
The music video for Heart Shaker also surpassed 60,000,000 views on YouTube! Later in the day, it was revealed that the girls had prepared unit stages that they perviously showed during their TWICELAND concert for KBS Gayo Daechukje.
JYP Entertainment also released new behind-the-scenes photos of the girls during the Merry & Happy M/V shoot through NAVER Starcast!
December 27, 2017 - This day was a rather quiet day until Mina posted on Instagram! Mina revealed that in honor of TWICE's 800th day anniversary, she received her organ donor certificate!
Mina has been a registered organ donor since she was sixteen (16) in Japan. But now, Mina is not only a donor for her home country, she's also one in Korea too!
This was also a day full of debate for ONCEs. What do you think, is it Myoui or Myoi? (Answer: Both are correct, as Mina's name in Japanese directly translates to Myōi Mina!)
December 28, 2017 - In the midst of the busy schedule, the girls managed to bag another win from M! Countdown for Heart Shaker!! Making it their 5th win for the song adding up to their record for most wins in music shows in a single year!
Furthermore, Sana and Tzuyu also made it to the TC Chandler list of the 100 Most Beautiful Women of 2017! In the same day, the girls pre-recorded their performance for MBC Gayo Daejejun, a little pre-recording + rehearsal for KBS Gayo, and a flight to Japan.
In addition, it was revealed that the girls received a chartered jet to help them commute from Korea and Japan!
December 29, 2017 - HAPPY SANA DAY!!!! Truly the cutie-sexy queen has had a wonderful year and celebrated with a bang! As Sana celebrated her day, she was also one of the special MCs for KBS Gayo Daechukje!
During the show, the girls performed all of their title tracks from this year; "Signal," "Heart Shaker," "Knock Knock," and "Likey," and showed a diverse unit stage with "4 Minutes" and "Greedy!"
The birthday girl, Sana, was able to celebrate and blew her birthday cakes backstage and as well on the private jet as it was revealed through photos posted on the girls' Twitter! What a blast!

December 30, 2017 - It was an unusually quiet day that day, except for the fact that the girls' record for most music shows won in a single year was broken. The girls bagged another win for Heart Shaker through the last episode of Music Bank for the year, adding more to their record.
December 31, 2017 - The last day of a wonderful year. Truly 2017 has gifted our girls an amazing run. And this day was another gift.
From snatching another win for Heart Shaker through Inkigayo, closing the year with 36 wins, to being the first K-pop group in six years to perform on Kouhaku! It was such a proud moment for both ONCE and TWICE.
Meanwhile, in Korea, MBC Gayo aired TWICE's "Likey" and "Heartshaker" stage that they pre-recorded earlier this week. For this MBC Gayo, TWICE performed "Likey" but with a twist - the girls exchanged parts with one another! ONCE and TWICE can't get any busier with their left and right appearances!
Truly, 2017 has left us with amazing content, one of a kind experience, and tons and tons of merchandise all from TWICE. This year was also when the girls fulfilled a lot of their dreams and started having new ones. ONCEs, let's continue to pour our hearts for the girls as they deserve the world!
