As the third week of promotions goes by, the girls are as busy as ever. From shooting commercials to performing at music shows, the members continued to work hard to give us their all!
Here's what happened this week:
November 13, 2017 - Starting off the week, ONCEs received lots of beautiful content from Jihyo's V-live, followed by some cute moments from Chaeyoung and Dahyun with a stream of their own! TWICE was filming for Pocari Sweat in Sapporo, Japan even under cold weather and with little sleep.
Additionally, TWICE partnered with Soompi in a Capture Challenge!ONCES were given a chance to win signed twicetagram albums by taking photos of themselves imitating their favorite scenes from the "LIKEY" MV and uploading them on twitter using the hashtag #likeytwice.
Finally, TWICE was nominated for the Melon Music Awards' Artist Of The Year *award and "Knock Knock" was nominated for *Song of the Year!
And lastly, Wonder Girls member Hyelim posted an article about TWICE and tagged them! We love a supportive sunbae!
November 14, 2017 - TWICE became the first Korean Girl Group to receive a Platinum Certification on a Japanese single with over 250,000 copies sold!
Through the girls' official twitter account, a new still from their upcoming CF with Pocari Sweat was revealed, captioned "Winter TWICE", in line with the concept for the commercial.
Later on it was also revealed through the official Twitter account that there will be a new TWICE Store in Hongik-Ro, Mapo-Gu, Seoul.
November 15, 2017 - On this day 5 years ago, TWICE's maknae Tzuyu left Taiwan to come to Korea and train at JYP Entertainment! Tzuyu left her home at such a young age to come to an entirely different country, learn the culture, learn to speak the language, and adapt to a completely different environment. We will be forever grateful to Tzuyu and her family for taking the steps to achieve her dream!
The 3rd episode for TWICE TV6 was also released through the Naver V App! Other than the new episode for TTV6, the preview for the girls' M/V commentary was also released!
Finally, TWICE was reported to have been invited Japan's NHK Kouhako Uta Gassen, Japan's most prestigious year-end show. TWICE will be the first Korean act in 6 years to perform at the program, which is invite-only and very exclusive.
November 16, 2017 - The girls received their 5th win with "Likey" on M! Countdown, marking their 50th Music Show Win. TWICE is now only the second girl group to have achieved this. "Likey" also charted on the United World Chart at #28!
The full "Likey" MV Commentary was also released through the YouTube channel M2.
JYP Entertainment also released the girls' "Signal" performance during their first fanmeeting ONCE BEGINSthrough 1theK.
Now for one of the biggest highlight for the week!
TWICE officially confirmed that they would be attending the NHK Kouhako Uta Gassen as a member of the red team! As mentioned before, the girls will be the first Korean Act to have been invited in 6 years! Congratulations to the girls yet again for the amazing achievement!
Let's also keep in mind that the J-Line members left Japan to come to Korea for their dreams and now have the chance to perform on the biggest stage in their home country!
November 17, 2017 - The girls ranked 2nd on Music Bank today as Seventeen got their 2nd win for their new song "Clap." However, the "Likey" music video surpassed the 70,000,000 views mark on YouTube! "Likey" also bagged its 2nd week at number 1 on Billboard's *World Digital Song Sales *chart!
TT was also revealed to be the #1 most danced song by Japanese High School Students!
TWICE was featured as one of the guests for KBS's World Idol Show KRUSH2! The episode featured the girls playing games and goofing off as they always do! The segment featuring the members starts at the 3:20 mark!
Towards the end of the day, the girls had their next fan autograph session in Myeongdong!
November 18, 2017 - The new TWICE Store opened and is set to be there until December 30, 2017! So ONCEs, only if you can, go on ahead and see what the store has! Its store hours are 11 AM to 10 PM!
"Likey" remained at #1 on Billboard Japan's Hot Buzz Song for a 2nd consecutive week.
The 4th episode for TWICE TV6 was also released. Later, Sana randomly jumped on V Live to spend a few brief minutes with ONCEs!
The individual girl group member's brand reputation for this month was revealed and every single one of the members ranked within the top 15.
The girls are also set to come to the Philippines for the Golden Disk Awards 2018, to be held at the Mall of Asia Arena. The nominees have not been announced yet, and which day the girls are set to attend is still unknown. However, for our Filipino ONCEs, go ahead and support our girls!
November 19, 2017 - And as the week comes to an end, the girls bag their 6th win with "Likey" on Inkigayo! "Likey" also surpassed 75,000,000 views on YouTube, making it the fastest Kpop Girl Group music video to reach this milestone, in just 19 days and 20 hours!
The girls also now have the most music show wins for the year 2017, with a total of 28!
